He is a certified successor (Isuja) of Hwandojang (Curved Sword Master), a Gyeonggi Intangible Cultural Heritage. He is a Member of the Daegu Design Association and a Member of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Craft Association. He received the Silver Prize, Bronze Prize, and Special Selection at the Daegu Craft Exhibition. His work received a Special Selection and Honorable Mention at the Grand Prize Korean Craft Exhibition and a Special Selection at the Grand Prize Korean Jeongsu Fine Arts Exhibition. He has appeared on numerous broadcasts, including EBS Extreme Job. He is the Representative Director of Kaljaebi Blacksmith and the Representative Director of Domyeong Swords.
