He serves as the President of the Namdo Ink Painting Association. He is an Advisory Committee Member for the 2024 Jeonnam Ink Painting Biennale. He served as an Ex-officio Director for the Gwangju Biennale Foundation from 2018 to 2022. He was the Executive Committee Chairman for Art Gwangju 18 (Gwangju International Art Fair) in 2018. He served as the 11th Chairman of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Chapter of the Korean Fine Arts Association (KFAA) from 2017 to 2021. He was an Operation Committee Member for the 32nd Mudeung Art Exhibition in 2016. He is the Chairman of the Korea Culture and Arts Association.
