He serves as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and is the Secretary-General of the Busan Consular Corps. He is an Appointed Professor at Busan University of Foreign Studies and the Chairman of the Advanced Asset Management Committee at Seoul National University College of Business Administration. He serves as an Advisory Committee Member for the World Federation of Korean Businessmen (OKTA) and the International Trade Strategy Research Institute. He has received numerous honors and appointments, including Orders of Merit, awards from the President, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the Mayor of Busan, the Proud Busan Citizen Award, the Cultural Promotion Award, and Honorary Citizenship of Gijang-gun.
