She holds a Ph.D. in Science from Hanyang University Graduate School and attended Ewha Womans University.

She served as a Visiting Professor at Kyushu University Graduate School in Japan and as a Professor at Busan Women's University,

where she also held the positions of Museum Director and Tea Ceremony Center Director. In addition to holding 5 domestic and 14 international solo exhibitions and participating in over 200 group exhibitions,

she served as the Vice President of the Busan Fine Arts Association and the President of the Korea Tea Ceremony Association. Currently,

she serves as the President of the Busan Women's Fine Arts Association and the Hyehwa Cultural Center, and she was honored with the Presidential Commendation (Order of Service Merit, Yellow Stripe)
