He is the recipient of the Grand Prize (Highest Honor) at the Traditional Fine Arts Exhibition of the Republic of Korea and the Grand Prize (Highest Honor) at the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition. He received the Jeongsu Prize at the Jeongsu Art Exhibition and the Excellence Award at both the Seongsan Art Exhibition and the Sin (New) Art Exhibition. He was also honored with the International Best Artist Grand Prize and the Busan City Council Chairman's Award at the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition. He is the Representative Director of Uiseongyo Ceramics.
