She holds a Ph.D. in Clothing and Textiles from Pusan National University. She has held 7 solo exhibitions and participated in over 180 group exhibitions. She served as an Adjunct Professor at Pusan National University from 2010 to 2019 and as a Full-Time/Adjunct Professor at Yangsan College from 2000 to 2010. She is a member of the Milyang Fine Arts Association and the President of the Milyang City Crafts Association. She is the Representative Director of Milyang Arirang Natural Dyeing and the Representative Director of Mirimi Dongguknae Kkotmul (Flower Water) Studio.
