He served as the Head of the Integrated Judging Committee for the Presidential Award at the Grand Prize Art Exhibition of the Republic of Korea (Gukjeon). He published the art book Limcheon Choi Bok-eun Sketches the World (356 pages, 546 works) at the Gongpyeong Art Center in Seoul. He published the Korean Dokdo Special Exhibition Art Book (128 pages) at the Seoul Museum of Art, Gyeonghuigung Main Branch. He was featured in the Istanbul World Culture EXPO 2013 Special Publication (248 pages). He is the recipient of awards including the Korean Arts and Culture Award, the Korean People Grand Prize, the National Artist Grand Prize, and the Geumbok Culture Award. He serves as an Advisor for the Korean Gukjeon Artists Association and the Head of the Gyeongbuk-Daegu Metropolitan Chapter. He is the Guidance Professor for the 6-year Leadership Program in Oriental Painting and Traditional Literati Painting at Dongguk University Education Center.
