He received training in Viewing Stones from his father, Yoon Chaguwan, in 1974. He studied under Master Seokjeon Kim In-soo in 1984 and Master Mukhwa Park Hwan-ki in 1990. In 2013, he received a Service Award from the Korea Viewing Stone Association Federation. He was designated a New Intellectual of the Republic of Korea in the Culture and Arts Division in 2021. He is an Invited Artist for the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition and holds the title of Master of International Culture and Arts in Viewing Stones.
