He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Ulsan Metropolitan City Chapter of the Photographic Society of Korea (PSK). He formerly served as the Head of the Ulsan Chapter of the Korea Video Artists Association. He is an Invited Artist for the Western Photographic Artists Association and an Invited Artist for the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition. He is the recipient of the Ulsan Metropolitan City Photography Grand Prize from the Photographic Society of Korea, the Grand Prize (Photography Division) at the Grand Prize Korean Culture and Arts Exhibition, the Grand Prize (Photography Division) at the International Comprehensive Artist Exhibition for the International Excellent Artist Invitational Exhibition, and the Artist of the Year Grand Prize (Photography Division) from the Korean Fine Arts Association.
