He has held 26 solo exhibitions. He served as the Vice Principal of Korea Plastic Arts High School, and as the Principal of Gyeongnam Sanggo High School and Bugyeong High School. He served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Design at Dong-Eui University and the Graduate School of Arts at Dong-A University. In 2007, he participated in an Invitational Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the National and Private Exhibitions of Korean Art in the 1970s. He served as the President of the Busan Fine Arts Association, the President of the Busan Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations (Busan YeChong), and the Vice Organizing Committee Chairman of the Busan Biennale. He is the recipient of the Busan City Culture Award, the MBC Busan Culture Grand Prize, the Korea East-West Culture Award, the Korea YeChong Culture Grand Prize, and the Grand Prize (Main Award) for the Grand Prize for Korean Artists. He currently serves as the Representative Director of the Busan Senior Artists Association.
