She graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Busan Women's University and its Graduate School (now Silla University). She completed the Ph.D. program in the Department of Formative Arts at Dankook University. She has held 24 solo exhibitions and 2 duo exhibitions. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at Pusan National University, Silla University, Dong-Eui University, and Jinju National University of Education. She has also served as a Judge for the Grand Prize Art Exhibition of the Republic of Korea, the Busan Fine Arts Exhibition, and the Korean Painting Special Exhibition.
