He has received the Seoul Mayor's Award at the 10th Hanyang Art Exhibition and the Bronze Prize at the Gyeongsangnam-do Craftwork Exhibition. He received the Master Grand Prize, Gold Prize, and Excellence Award at the Republic of Korea North-South Unification World Environment Art Exhibition. He was honored with the Traditional Craft Grand Prize (Culture Sector) at the 12th Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Leader Grand Awards. He also won the Highest Excellence Award from the Korea Traditional Culture and Arts Association. He is an Invited Artist for the 17th Grand Prize Craft Art Exhibition of the Republic of Korea. He holds the titles of Traditional Embroidery Master at the North-South Unification World Art Exhibition and Master of International Culture and Arts in Embroidery Craft. He has served as a Judge for the Jeongsu Art Exhibition and the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition.
