He is the recipient of the Grand Prize for Culture and Arts of the Republic of Korea. He has been appointed as an Invited Artist for the Korean Fine Arts Association and the Han-Seo Fine Arts Association, as well as an Invited Artist for the International Comprehensive Art Exhibition.
He is a member of the Yangsan Branch of the Korean Fine Arts Association. He served as the Vice President of the Samcheon Calligraphy and Literati Painting Research Society (Former) and is currently the Vice Chairman of the International Association for the Promotion of Comprehensive Arts (Current). He holds the title of Master of International Culture and Arts (Korean Painting)
