He received Commendations from the Korea Committee for the International Skill Olympics, the Minister of Justice, the Busan Regional Labor Office Chief, the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, and the Minister of Unification. He operates Hyeonju Clock Repair Shop (Hyeonju-sa Sigye).
